Why Work With Me ?

As I was preparing the content for my business and website, I aimed to focus and keep reminding myself that the business is not about me. It’s about YOU!!  There is a ton of content out there and certainly lots of coaches too.  So why should you make the decision to work with me?? After giving this some very deep thought, here is what I came up with. By the way, these are in no particular order.

I’m well-trained as a teacher

I’ve attained a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a master’s in Physical Education/Coaching, a professional certification in Personal Fitness Training. I have more than 20 years of experience working as a teacher in the education industry at the high school and college level.

I’m a certified coach

I have been trained and certified in health coaching, and I’m also currently certified in holistic coaching. I earned my latest certification in Personal Performance Coaching from the Coaching Academy in London, England. This program was very intense and it took me 2.5 years to complete. The Coaching Academy is the world’s largest coaching skills training provider.

Real Life Work Experience

I worked in the mental health industry for 5 years as a resource counselor, case manager, and crisis intervention counselor. I’ve also served as a youth, high school, college, and professional sports coach. I’m a veteran of the U.S. Army, and I’m a certified behavioral science specialist with the U.S. military. I’ve also owned & operated a number of successful service based and retail businesses.

Strong people skills

I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a motivational speaker for international companies, speak in local communities, and to large college audiences. In addition, many of my articles have been featured on blogs, forums, newspapers, and in well-known magazines.

I’m built for this

I’m resilient, curious, grateful, emphathetic, and full of optimism about your future. If you take some time to read my section on Pain, you will see that I’ve been battered and bruised by many struggles and obstacles in my own life. I have come through the other side, and I’m a survivor. I want to share all my knowledge and strategies with you. We all need each other, and the unique gifts that each of us brings to the table.
